Montelimar Computer Club (CIM) was founded in 1984; differents kinds of computers were on display :

  • Commodore 64
  • Amiga (Motorola 68000)
  • PC (Intel Pentium) At the beginning, only computer geeks met to exchange their skills and develop software on tapes (hard drives were far too expensive!!!)
  • Apple Mac
  • Tablet (Android, iOS)
  • Windows
  • .....

They had to move from one place to another with their computers before getting a decent meeting room.

The Computer Club is a welcoming and relaxing place to exchange skills and ideas. Humor and friendliness are most welcome. Senior and new members share a lot of hardware and activities, as well as Internet access, WIFI, scanners, printers...

CIM has supervised different local events :

  • Salon de la Micro
  • Salon des Jeux de Mots
  • Forum des Associations de Montélimar
  • Sésame VTT featuring St James Vélo Club
  • Special Windows Vista event in partnership with Microsoft
  • IT events in partnership with Microsoft, Symantec, Trend Micro
